The Finishing School Foundation will provide bespoke employability training for NEET talent. In addition, it provides practical support for NEET talent while they complete the free Brixton Finishing School Courses.
These award-winning courses are designed to break down barriers and provide talent with the skills, confidence, and industry connections they need to succeed. Delivered in partnership with leading employers and industry experts, these courses provide an accessible alternative to costly university or college education, allowing participants to build a future in the Marketing, Advertising, and Communications sectors.
The programmes focus on reaching young people from underrepresented backgrounds, including those from socially mobile, multi-ethnic, and neurodiverse communities. By combining practical skills training with mentorship and professional guidance, students are empowered to become “Work Ready” and prepared for real-world roles.
Through initiatives like the 8-week, in-person Brixton Finishing School Summer School and flexible, national ADcademy e-learning programme, multiple pathways into the industry are offered. These programmes open doors to entry-level roles that the talents might not have previously known about or had access to, helping them become the next generation of the creative industries.
Each course is a step toward a brighter future, bridging the gap between potential and opportunity in a sector that’s eager for diverse voices and fresh perspectives.
We’re here to give you the skills you need to break into the Marketing, Advertising and Communications industries. This training is FREE and all pre-recorded video content – so you can learn in your own time, around your jobs and responsibilities.
If you are 18-30 years old from an ethnic minority, or a working class background you can enrol and start your journey to an entry level role today.
Completely free and virtual, the programme accommodates varying schedules and responsibilities.
Featuring instruction from industry leaders, the ADcademy is purpose-built to assist in securing that first job, regardless of location within the UK.
The Brixton Finishing School Summer School delivers a premium learning experience through a mixture of masterclasses and real world employer experiences. Participants have the opportunity to engage with leading companies in the industry, acquiring essential knowledge and skills to kick start a career.
The course is based in central London, in person, with 20 hours of interactive learning and group work each week, running from July to September.
